Arrival/departure
We do our best to ensure that your room is ready as early as possible! Your room will be available by 3:00 p.m. at the latest. On the day of your departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. If you wish to make the most of your last day here, we will be happy to store your luggage at reception. Should you require a shower or wish to change your clothes, the wellness area is at your disposal.

Babyphone
Please contact the reception if you wish to activate the hotel babyphone system.

Babysitting
According to demand and availability, we will arrange a babysitter for you for a small fee.

Bank/cashpoint
The “Raiffeisenbank” and the “Volksbank” both have a cashpoint in Leogang. Opening times: weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition you will find a cashpoint at the sports centre near the “Asitz” car park.

Bar
A drink in the afternoon, an aperitif or a nightcap – your wish is our command! Our bar is open for you daily. Please note that we serve cocktails from 3:00 p.m. onwards only.

Bathrobes
These are available in your room free of charge for the duration of your stay.

Beauty, baths and massages
Time for yourself! Let yourself be pampered. Our highly qualified beauty and massage staff will look after you daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We work with “Dr. Spiller Biocosmetic” products. Please book the treatment you wish at the wellness area reception or at the hotel reception. Our team will see to your treatment and is looking forward to attending to your needs. We would like to inform you that no charges will be made for cancellations up to 24 hours before treatments. From 24 hours onwards before the beginning of your treatment an 80 % cancellation fee will apply. Appointments which fail to be kept will be charged 100 %.

Doctor/pharmacy
In Leogang there are 2 general practitioners and a dentist. In case you should need a doctor, please contact the reception. The doctors also have their own dispensary. Other pharmacies can be found in Saalfelden on the way into the town. The reception will inform you of opening times at the weekend and on public holidays.

Dogs
Your four-legged friends are welcome at our hotel. In spite of the fact that animals are not allowed in the restaurant or on the sunbathing lawns at the bathing lake, you and your dog are sure to enjoy your stay with us. The daily price per dog (without food) is €20. We reserve the right to charge, should it be necessary, for a final clean of your room.

Drinking water
Mountain spring water is available at our buffet. Our water is revitalised according to genuine Grander technology and has natural positive benefits.

“Five Senses Adventure Park”
Break your trip to the cable car mountain station and visit the “Five Senses Adventure Park”! The area of the park is situated directly next to the mountain meadows and also partly in the forest. The Five Senses Adventure Park is of interest to all age groups. There are more than 25 information points and apparatus which can be “discovered” alone or in groups. Some information points invite you to linger a little, while others can be experienced whilst passing by. Notice boards give you required information. Get to know and recognise between 80 and 100 medicinal plants, trees, shrubs, alpine flowers and herbs + “Leo’s Wasserwelt” (waterworld), which has for example a barefoot trail through the water and a waterfall.

Fun park
Whether you are a new school skier or snowboarder, perfectly shaped Corner Jumps, Big Airs and different Rails in the Nitro Snow Park at the “Asitzmuldenbahn” await you.

Go-karting track
Drive a few circuits on the outdoor go-kart track.
Opening times: Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., July and August daily from 10:00 a.m. to
9:00 p.m.

Golf
In a peaceful and natural landscape at the foot of the towering mountain massif of the “Steinernen Meer”, one of the loveliest golf courses in the Alps is situated. The Urslautal Golf Course, on a high plateau between Saalfelden and Maria Alm, fits into the existing landscape with perfect harmony. Guests of our hotel are entitled to a 30 % discount. We would be pleased to book your tee-off time in one of the numerous other golf courses in the area (Zell am See, Mittersill, Ellmau, Goldegg or Kitzbühel). We recommend the “Golf-Alpin-Pass”, with which you may book 3 or 5 reduced green fees. Contact the reception for further information.

Hiking
Unbelievable experiences await you in the mountain world around Leogang! Leogang is situated in the midst of the gently rounded Pinzgauer “Grassberge” (“grassy hills”) and the Leoganger “Steinberge” (“stone mountains”); the well-marked trails are easy to follow without a guide.
There is plenty of information, signposts and the trails are always perfectly kept, notices and signs correctly placed. You can also take advantage of the knowledge of the local hiking guides and take part in a guided hike, escorted by Mr Schmuck personally.

Hotel entrance
The main entrance door is closed from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) to 7:00 a.m. With your key card you may enter the hotel at any time through the special nighttime entrances. One of these is in the 'Schmuckkastl' hotel wing, and the two others are to the right and left of the main entrance. Please note that your key card will only function for the door of the building in which your room is situated.

Infrared cabin
Do your body good in the “Physiotherm” infrared cabin and enjoy the natural heat. Try it out in our wellness area.

Internet
You will find a W-LAN connection in our lobby and on the gallery. There is also Internet access in our rooms. All you need is a modem to be able to surf with your laptop without problems. For further information and modems contact the reception.

Kiddy Club
Your little ones (from 2 years) are in the best of hands with our qualified child carers. Times are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Lunch is included at 12:00 a.m. We try to take the weather into consideration when planning the programme for the children in order to ensure a day full of variety.

Laundry
Should you need to wash your clothes simply put them in the bath or shower. Your clothes will be returned to your room freshly washed and ironed in one or two days. The service will be charged to your hotel bill.

“Leogang Bike Park”
Whether you are a speed enthusiast or a gentle cyclist – there is something for everyone at the “Leogang Bike Park”. Europe’s largest mountain bike park with daring slopes in varying grades of difficulty: the “Dirt Jump” and “North Shore Park” inspire not only the young and the young at heart, but also the lover of extremes. Trial courses may be booked under the telephone number +43 (0)6583/8642 or directly at the reception, where you can also obtain cycling maps.

Lift tickets
You can purchase tickets for the mountain lifts directly at the reception – without long waiting times! Ski passes can be charged to your hotel bill.

Lost property
Lost something? Contact the reception. Should you find anything, please hand it in at reception.

Packed Lunch
Should your departure time be before 7:00 a.m. we would be pleased to arrange a packed lunch for you instead of your breakfast. Please inform us by 12:00 a.m. at the latest, or inform the staff at breakfast on the day before departure.

Meal cancellation
Should you wish to dine elsewhere during your stay please inform the reception by 11:00 a.m. We would be glad to grant you a refund of up to €8 per person (children according to their ages).

Meal times
We are devoted to healthy eating and enjoy using tried and tested recipes which have been handed down from one generation to the next – we have adapted these (and the method of preparation) to correspond to modern nutritional plans. In combination with our carefully chosen, fresh, quality produce from the region, our “Forsthofgut Spoil Yourself Package” really leaves nothing to be desired.

Mine
Leogang is one of the oldest mining regions of the Salzburg province. In the Schwarzleo valley you will find traces of mining activity going back to prehistoric times. You can follow these traces in the recently reconstructed medieval mining galleries.

Museums
Leogang Mining Museum:
Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., guided tours on request. In winter the museum is open from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and also on request.

Leogang Silver Mine: This is the oldest silver mine in Salzburg and dates back to the 12th century.
Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., guided tours on request. Closed in winter.

Alfred Kubin Exhibition: This is the largest collection of Kubin’s works as well as some contemporary art.
Opening times: Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on request.

Museum of Minerals:
Opening times: daily after making an appointment by telephone.

Pinzgauer Museum, Schloss Ritzen:
Opening times: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; from 24th December to 6th January daily from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed in March, April and November. Brochures available at the reception.

“Kristallkeller Lemberger”: private collection and sale of different minerals and wood carvings. Entrance free.

Parking
There are sufficient parking spaces around the hotel. Please use the forecourt of the hotel only when unloading or loading your car. Thank you!

Postcards/stamps
These are available at the reception. We would be pleased to post your cards for you at the local post office.

Questionnaire
Please fill out the questionnaire found in your room and tell us about your stay. We appreciate not only praise but also criticism!

Rafting
Take part in a rafting tour of the wonderful and exacting stretch from Au to Unken. Children can also take part in “pirate rafting”. Or what about canyoning: completely kitted-out, enjoy swimming, sliding and jumping off rocks! For information and booking please contact the reception.

Reception
Our front desk in the new wing of the hotel is manned from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. At these times we are at your disposal for any questions or requests. You may phone the reception from your room by dialling the number 9.

Restaurant
A table is automatically reserved for you in our non-smoking restaurant. Your may enjoy a smoke – cigarette or cigar – at the hotel bar. Our restaurant manager Frau Margrit Wieser and her staff look forward to serving you!

Riding
There are two first-class riding schools nearby. Warmbloods, Haflingers as well as Iceland ponies await you. Further information at the reception.

Room bill
Any extras will be added to your room bill and can be paid on the evening before your departure at the reception. Please sign your bill and add your room number. Any complaints made later can unfortunately not be taken into account.

Room key
Your room key (= key card) may be deposited at the reception. The hotel entrance is closed from 12:00 p.m. onwards. Please use the night entrances by means of your key card.

Shop
Here you can purchase regional products as gifts for your family at home or as souvenirs of your stay with us.

Ski depot
You'll find the ski depot next to the main entrance: go down the stairs and then turn right twice. Access from outside to the ski depot is also possible with your key card. In the depot you will find a locker for your skis with your room number on it. This is reserved for your use for the duration of your stay.

Ski hire “Riedlsperger Sport Shop”
The ski hire shop next to the ski depot presents the very latest in all kinds of skiing equipment. Try out different models of skis, ski boards and carving skis. Franz Riedlsperger and his team look forward to seeing you.

Ski school “Schnee Sport Schule” Asitz
Our partner ski school offers children and adults special skiing courses as well as private courses. From the ski-kindergarten to first-class carving training – we offer the whole spectrum of modern skiing. Book directly at the hotel or phone +43 (0)664/241 96 91.

We would like to ask for your understanding that purchases made in the ski school cannot be added to your hotel bill.

Skiing area
This is Austria’s largest skiing area – Leogang, Saalbach and Hinterglemm with 55 cable cars and more than 200 kilometres of pistes.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of our rooms. You will, however, find an ashtray in your room – please use it when smoking on the balcony!

Summer toboggan run
1,600 metres of tobogganing await you in Saalfelden on the Biberg. A huge amount of fun, which may be combined with a short hike.

Tennis
There are 5 outdoor tennis courts at your disposal in Leogang. The 3 sand courts and 2 synthetic red clay courts are only 5 minutes away from the hotel. In winter the indoor court at Saalfelden is also worth a visit. The tennis centre with 3 courts is only 10 minutes away by car. Arrange tennis lessons at the reception.

Toboggan run in winter
Our toboggan run (belonging to the hotel) is directly behind the hotel and can be used from morning until evening. In the evening the run is, of course, flood-lit in order to enhance the fun even more! Toboggans are available free of charge. For further information contact the reception.

Wellness
Enjoy fabulous hours in our new wellness area: Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, infrared cabin, different types of showers, rock crystal steam bath and ice fountain. This is truly a place to relax, where the tension in your body will simply melt away, and you will feel revitalised. Open daily from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We open earlier when the weather is bad.

Wine
Choose from a large selection of national and international top-quality wines. Our excellently qualified sommelier, Margrit Wieser, will be pleased to advise you and recommend the most suitable wine for a particular dish. We also enjoy organising wine-tastings in our new wine ­cellar.
