The location of the Thoman Alm is unbeatable: On one side the densely overgrown forest, on the other side of the valley the Leoganger Steinberge peaks rise up. Small paths and well-marked hiking trails lead from the hut to the most beautiful viewing spots, to nearby huts, to majestic peaks and down into the Schwarzleo valley and invite you to explore. The Thoman Alm is a hidden paradise - charming, rustic, but equipped with modern comforts.

Our Thoman Alm is a fully self-catering hut. A filled fridge is ready for you and your loved ones upon arrival as a starter package. Look forward to local products from regional suppliers and our own farm.
Rugged peaks, wide fields, narrow paths, winding mountain trails: the landscape around the Thoman Alm is made for conquering, discovering its most beautiful corners on foot or tracking down new favourite spots. This quiet side valley near the Spielbergalmen is a special feel-good place and offers a diverse flora and fauna for nature lovers. And not only is the path to the Thoman Alm perfect for a leisurely hike, it is also the ideal starting point for further tours to the surrounding peaks, such as the Spielberghorn. A real hiker's paradise awaits you!

The surroundings around the Thoman Alm can also be explored on two wheels. It should be noted, however, that biking is only possible in the valley, as there is a strict ban on biking above the Thoman Alm. Nevertheless, numerous bike routes of varying degrees of difficulty await you from the Thoman Alm! You are welcome to rent Scott e-bikes and mountain bikes, including a children's trailer, for an additional charge.

Alpine pasture experiences
Our alpine pasture hut can be booked beginning in May: Either together with the hotel stay or as an exclusive alpine time-out. Enjoy special quality time with all your loved ones during a break in unspoilt nature. In addition, the Thoman Alm offers the perfect backdrop for extraordinary nature experiences.
The "Glücksbringer" is our guest relations team and your very own wish-fulfiller: they plan all these experiences - from counting stars to breakfast in the forest and many more! - for you. Our team is also at your side if you want to plan surprises or fulfil small and big wishes for your loved ones.
