TRAIL RUNNING

Trail running is running away from crowded training routes, on varied trails, and above all: with a panoramic view. The Saalfelden-Leogang region is the ideal terrain for this sport and offers 21 well-thought-out routes for beginners, experts, and professionals.

The Schmuck family's personal tip for beginners is the "Ederbauern-Runde": It takes about 35 minutes to master 6.9 kilometers and 202 meters of altitude difference, starting at the Naturhotel. For experienced runners, the "Endless Flow Trail" is the right choice: a slightly undulating, 10-kilometre-long high-altitude trail that starts directly at the Asitz mountain station.
