Regionality is not just a trend for us but a fundamental attitude. We are not only connected to our regional producers and partners by the same sense of traditional values and inherited knowledge, but also by a good neighborly connection - most of our partners come from Leogang and Saalfelden.
Our Farm - the Mauthof
The farm, steeped in history, is located on the sunny side of Leogang at about 1000 meters above sea level. On the 21.8 hectares of meadows and pastures, broiler chickens, lambs, geese, and pigs feel right at home. Theresia and Franz care for the Mauthof and all the animals lovingly.
Scheffaurer fish farm
In the crystal-clear waters of the PillerseeTal, at the ponds of Scheffaurer Hof, Leo Trixl’s trout and char grow. The farm is a true insider tip for those who appreciate local fish. The fish have plenty of space and grow slowly and naturally in cool, pure spring water – without any forced feeding. We source the majority of our local fish from our partner "Scheffaurer Hof" in nearby Fieberbrunn.
Stechaubauer organic farm
Our organic farmer from Saalfelden supplies 70% of the vegetables needed for the ForsthofgutCUISINE. The Haitzmann family, the people behind the Stechaubauer farm, are organic pioneers for us: they have been farming organically for three generations since 1964. You can taste this passion in every bite.

Cheese dairy at the Sinnlehenhof farm
Family Scheiber from the Sinnlehenhof farm are authentic cheese connoisseurs. Hans learned to love cheese after taking over the farm. Since 2011, different types of cheese have been produced here from the farm's milk. You can also enjoy the extraordinary cheese at the dairy or the associated alpine cabin, the Sinnlehenalm above Leogang.

Two farmers and one passion: milk. For over 15 years, two Leogang farmers have been working together to supply us and the surrounding region with their fresh dairy products. Thanks to numerous pastures and spacious stables, the cows feel completely at home here - this is reflected in the excellent quality of the dairy products we purchase daily for the ForsthofgutCUISINE.

Enn organic farm
We have been getting our eggs for the ForsthofCUISINE from the organic farm Enn in Leogang for a very long time. Karin Enn is a real "chicken whisperer", as we like to call her. The local farm is characterized above all by the first-class quality and gentle treatment of nature. On the spacious farm, the chickens can live out their typical behaviors such as scratching, running, or flapping their wings and feel completely at ease.
