The Forsthofgut has been rooted in Leogang for 400 years, and the Schmuck family has been at home here for five generations. This long tradition and history shape every step we take. Strong roots. 1617 was the year it all began: our farm, which used to be a simple forestry operation, has been around since then. The foundation stone for the hotel in its present form was laid in 1960, and Christoph and Christina Schmuck have been running the family business since 2006. They share their passion for hospitality with their large team.
